The SINYS College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences involves itself in scientific and evidence based learning for various academic and clinical purposes through the Dept. of naturopathy diagnostic methods, clinical naturopathy & yoga therapy & Research & Development. It looks after all the institutional projects undertaken by under graduate and Post graduate students, Interns and Faculty of the college. The Dept. as a major highlight has a BIOPAC MP 36 unit installed and is being used by the aforementioned staff and students for different electrophysiological studies assessing the efficacy of certain Naturopathic and Yogic treatment therapies on variables like Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Spirometry, Reaction Time etc. A drugless therapeutic approach which is evidence based and a promise of good health.

Medical diagnostics is a clinical-oriented medical science program that incorporates the basic diagnostic method of conventional medicine required for BNYS graduates that has greatest impact on the diagnosis and therapy of disease.

This subject prepares students to make diagnosis accurately and thereby treat the patients effectively. It involves clinical rounds, exposure to invasive and non-invasive investigation methods in an allopathy hospital along with theory classes.

Hydrotherapy deals with treatment through water at different temperature, duration and mode of application. The mere existence of life, continuation, survival and correction of diseased condition is through water. “Water is everything – Rigveda”.

The department of nutrition, Dietetics’ and fasting therapy creates and shares knowledge to ensure healthy and appealing food, nutrients that supports the well -being and prosperity of the people and to fight against the disease. The subject deserves to serve professionals and personal needs of individual who wants to broaden their opportunities in nutrition related fields.

Psychology studies in naturopathy that helps to understand behaviour, memory and mental health disorders. Psychiatry is the branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis , treatment and prevention of mental , emotional and behavioural disorders through practical’s they are going to understand about how to deal with patient and how to test , how to find out and analyse the disorder. They can collect information through observation, interview, survey and other methods.

This is a therapy where body are scientifically manipulated to facilitate circulation flexibility and to strengthen joints and other body structures and to provide the rehabilitative knowledge the post-surgical cases.

Under this department subjects Acupuncture & Acupressure and color therapy & magneto therapy is a safe and effective holistic medicine backed by more than two thousand years of practice and research. It is practiced worldwide both as a primary and adjunctive treatment for a wide range of conditions.

A branch of medicine dealing with healthcare issues affecting communities as a whole. Disciplines of community medicine and public health have evolved differently and despite some overlaps have differences especially in the need for clinical training for Naturopathy and Yoga students.

The department of Human Anatomy aims to study the Human body structure by means of lecture session and detailed practical classes. At SINYS, We have a well-established dissection hall, cadaver with all the dissection facilities to explore all the dimensions of Anatomy.

Pathology & microbiology provides a comprehensive knowledge of mechanism and cause of diseases.
